How to Use VoLTE on your Smartphone
VoLTE or Voice over LTE is a service that lets you make calls through LTE instead of the typical 2G or 3G networks. VoLTE will allow you to make and receive high-definition voice-quality calls while staying online using your mobile data.
VoLTE is supported by most modern smartphones and only uses your smartphone’s native Call app to make a call so there is no need to download a specific app.
VoLTE service is available to all Smart Signature and Smart Infinity Postpaid and select Smart Prepaid and TNT subscribers.
Here’s what you need to get started with VoLTE:
- Smart LTE SIM
- 4G/4G+/LTE signal
- VoLTE-capable smartphone updated with the latest software version
- Sufficient load or active voice and SMS subscription
