How to Request an Increase in Your Smart Postpaid Credit Limit
Before requesting an increase in your credit limit, please make sure of the following:
- Any related account/s under your name is current and has no overdue balance.
- Your account is active for a minimum of six (6) months.
- Any subsequent request for an Increase in Credit Limit (ICL) must be after three (3) months from the date of the previous credit limit request.
For Individual accounts:
To request an increase in your credit limit, you may visit any Smart Store and present the following requirements, which are subject to approval:
- Bank Statement/Passbook/Bank Certification reflecting account balance
- Certificate of Employment/Payslip/ITR/Salary Certificate reflecting salary per annum
- Credit Card Billing Statement reflecting credit limit
If you are transacting through a representative, please include your valid ID, an authorization letter, and your representative’s valid ID.

For Corporate accounts:
To request an increase in credit limit, here are the following requirements:
- Completely filled-out DCL Form signed by the authorized signatory
- Letter of Request signed by the authorized signatory/Email request from the authorized signatory or authorized representative or subscriber on record
- Valid ID of the authorized signatory
