Smart has restored 99% of Mindanao fixed services and 97% of wireless services, including vital communication links in Misamis Oriental, and Surigao del Norte.
86% of wireless services and 60% fixed services in the Visayas have been repaired.
Restoration work is ongoing round-the-clock for affected areas in Palawan. Unfortunately, debris clearing and power interruptions are affecting the restoration efforts.
Subscribers may experience intermittent service in previously restored areas because of unavailability of power and transmission lines.
For more information and updates on the relief efforts for the victims of Typhoon Odette, follow Smart’s official accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
