For those looking for a more fun and light-hearted option, Love Hard is a wacky but hilarious take on a seasonal rom-com.
Natalie, played by Nina Dobrev, tries to surprise her online crush by going to his hometown only to find she’s been catfished by Josh, played by Jimmy O. Yang.
Despite the deceptive shenanigans, the film makes a lesson on what it means to be truthful and honest, not just with others but with yourself too.
As a fun fact, the title of the film is a combination of two popular Christmas movies: Love Actually and Die Hard. Yes, Die Hard is a Christmas movie.

Klaus is a fantastic Christmas animated film voiced by a star-studded cast such as Jason Schwartzman, J.K. Simmons, and Rashida Jones.
A lazy and spoiled son of the Royal Postmaster General befriends a mysterious and grumpy toymaker.
This unlikely duo work to both spread laughter and cheer to the local town, while also learning a valuable lesson on redemption and graciousness to others.
Aside from the heartwarming story, the animation also has a very nostalgic, early-2000’s feel to it, which would surely appeal to the older millennials as much as it would to the kids.

Seven Sundays

Upon learning that the elderly patriarch played by Valdez has cancer and only has a few weeks to live, he coerces the family to spend the remaining seven Sundays together.
Despite each sibling carrying their own baggage, the film comes to a deeply grounded and incredibly emotional revelation, and we learn only when we’re open to each other emotionally can we truly come together as a family.

For those who appreciate the simple things like a cutesy teen rom-com, Love is Color Blind is a fresh and fairly unique release from Star Cinema in collaboration with Smart. The movie centers around Ino and Cara, played by the top trending love team of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano. An accident has left the budding artist Ino traumatized and unable to see color, meanwhile his best friend Cara tries her best to help Ino overcome his struggles and bring color back to his life, while secretly being in love with him.
