AI-Powered Productivity
With the AI-powered functions that Galaxy S24 Series offers, you can now make work tasks easier for you. Galaxy AI has the ability to identify multiple speakers in one voice recording and can automatically transcribe the entire conversation. What’s more, it can intelligently pick up on the key topics of the discussion and provide a bulleted summary for you. If you need something to make research easier, you can also summarize lengthy articles or PDF documents with a press of a button.
Next-Generation Communication
The Galaxy S24 Series also makes communicating with others easier. With the Call Assist feature, you can do real-time translations between two languages while you’re in a call on the native call application. Galaxy AI will instantly translate your words to another language and vice-versa. Notably, the Call Assist feature doesn’t rely on an internet connection. All it needs is a clear mobile signal so that Galaxy AI can properly process the call.
The Galaxy S24 can also adjust text messages into a specific kind of tone. You can choose a line of text and change it to a polite or playful tone, or even a tone that heavily uses emojis.
Photo Editing On-the-Go
Samsung is also making photo editing on-the-go so much more powerful on the Galaxy S24 Series. You can now go beyond simple changes to brightness and contrast, thanks to Galaxy AI. Simply hold your finger down on a specific part of a photo and Galaxy AI will offer you several editing options, such as moving or removing objects, removing shadows and reflections, adding portrait or background effects, and more. Galaxy S24 Series Specifications
While Galaxy AI is definitely the star of the new Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has also revealed the specifications of its latest premium lineup.
Both the Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24+ have received upgrades to their display and battery. The Galaxy S24 now has a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display (from 6.1-inch) while the Galaxy S24+ is equipped with a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ (from 6.6-inch). Both screens are now also brighter, with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
The battery of the Galaxy S24 has been upgraded to 4,000 mAh from 3,900 mAh while the Galaxy S24+ has gone from 4,700 mAh to 4,900 mAh. Both the Galaxy S24 and S24+ are now powered by Samsung’s new Exynos 2400 processor.
The top-of-line Galaxy S24 Ultra has received the most upgrades this year, with 12GB RAM across all its variants, a brighter display at 2,600 nits peak brightness, and a titanium outer frame and Corning Gorilla Armor for peak durability. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is also now powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
