Now Is the Best Time to Binge-Watch Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan is undeniably one of the most popular and successful anime of the past decade, with its reach extending way beyond just avid anime fans and even the more mainstream audience of the genre. However, if you’re one of those who have somehow either completely missed seeing it for whatever reason or have been waiting for the right time to catch up, now is definitely the best time to binge-watch Attack on Titan.

Attack on Titan’s first season was released way back in 2013 and became an instant hit, gaining critical acclaim and winning several awards. While its popularity waned slightly because of the three-year gap between its first and second season, Attack on Titan has only become more successful since then. And the excitement over the series has grown even further over the past couple of years because its final season began airing in late 2020.

Aptly named The Final Season, the show’s concluding season is divided into three parts. The first part finished airing during the first quarter of 2021 while the second finished last March. The third and final part has already been confirmed for release sometime in 2023. Interestingly, part three of Attack on Titan: The Final Season will release during the tenth anniversary of the show, making its timing incredibly fitting.

With Part 3 being Attack on Titan’s last set of episodes, which will finally conclude its epic story, the time before its release is a great opportunity to finally catch up with the show to be prepared for the airing of The Final Season Part 3.

There are a total of 87 episodes of Attack on Titan from the start of Season 1 to the end of The Final Season Part 2. With Part 3’s release date still up in the air, there is certainly a lot of time to catch up at your own pace, whether you decide to binge-watch it all in one or a few sessions or take as much time as you want. Even watching as little as an average of three episodes per week will ensure that you’ll either fully catch up or be close to it by the end of 2022.

The excitement surrounding the ending of Attack on Titan can be likened to the finale of Game of Thrones and the anticipation will only grow larger as the release of The Final Season Part 3 draws closer. It’s likely that it will become the most talked-about anime when it finally releases next year. Thankfully, the window of time before its release is more than enough for anyone to catch up.

Attack on Titan’s popularity has made it available through streaming sites like Viu. Smart’s Giga K-Video promo lets subscribers watch up to 1GB of Viu content as low as PHP 14 per day. Download the GigaLife app so you can start binge-watching today.
