The perfect ending we wanted for the South Korean drama “Crash Landing on You” is finally coming true…in real life! Shippers’ hearts soared high as news of the upcoming wedding of the stars of the famous K-Drama, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, ‘crash-landed’ on social media. The real-life couple broke the engagement news to delighted fans on Instagram through their individual posts on February 10, just a few days short of Valentine’s Day, supplying us with all the “kilig” we will probably ever need this love month.
In her Instagram account, Son Ye Jin posted a photo of a miniature wedding dress on a hanger and placed captions both in Hangul and in English.
Hyun Bin, through his agency’s Instagram account, posted two photos. The first one is a photo of the couple holding hands and the second one is a photo of Hyun Bin’s hand-written letter to his fans announcing the big decision he has made in his life.
The announcement came over a year after both Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin’s agencies confirmed that the BinJin couple is dating. “Crash Landing On You” aired on South Korea and on Netflix worldwide from December 2019 to February 2020. In March 2020, dating rumors between its two main stars began to circulate on social media. Although their agencies did not confirm these rumors, fans all over the world eagerly anticipated the looming romance between the BinJin couple. In January 2021, VAST Entertainment and MS Team Entertainment, the agencies of Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin respectively, finally confirmed their real-life romance.
There was no mention of the exact date of the wedding in both Instagram posts but fans will clearly be looking forward to the couple’s next announcement.
